Emerging Markets – Caspian to Congo
Our particular specialism is to provide consultancy services in any market to a Western, mature market standard in full compliance with the International Valuation Standards. We will travel and carry out our research in-country and we do not rely on outsourcing or third parties.
In addition to the MENA region we are particularly interested in West and sub-Saharan Africa, and Central Asia. We have undertaken assignments in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, and Turkmenistan.
We recently partnered with Deloitte in valuing the assets of a significant MENA Sovereign Wealth Fund. This assignment was for the World Bank and took our team to Mali, Niger, Chad and Congo-Brazzaville.
Expert Witness
We have considerable experience as Expert Witness at the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), the UK High Court and the ICC International Court of Arbitration. Our bespoke Expert Reports are typically commissioned in order to give our expert opinion in establishing losses in value related to tangible assets.
Asset Audit
We are sometimes instructed to travel to remote parts of the region in order to conduct Asset Audits. These can take the form of a report commenting on the condition of assets, or a forensic report detaining the physical presence of assets, and property boundaries.

- Audit of leased Real Estate assets in Turkmenistan for a US Oil and Gas service provider.
- Audit of mobile power units for a US Oil and Gas service provider, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
